First Haircut

Well... we are almost caught up!! Last week, Sei was able to come home for a few days... while he was here, we took Zac to the barbershop for his very first haircut!! Not that he has tons of hair, but the curls were starting to get a little unruley. He did Great... sat up in the chair like such a big boy.. and no fussing. He even giggled when the lady turned on the clippers :o) My baby doesn't look like a baby anymore.. such a cutie with his new do!!

Play Dates

This summer has been filled with fun days... a couple weeks ago with got together with some friends and headed over to the Como Zoo. Zac had a great time looking at all the people.. he wasn't too interested in the animals this time. He also had lots of fun playing with his friend Bella at their park.

On the following weekend, we had a pool party at Grandma's.. while also having a garage sale. The sale was a success and Zac and Cousin Marcus had a great time splashing around.

Cruisin at the Car Show

In the middle of June is a fantastic car show at the fairgrounds with over 10,000 classic cars... Our friend Jimmy from Fargo was here for the event and Zac and I decided to join him on Sat afternoon. The weather was fine and the cars were spectacular. Zac had a great time enjoying the sun and strolling around looking at all the cool rides...

BIG BIRTHDAY BASH!!

ZAC IS ONE!!!

We had sooo much fun celebrating Zac's birthday with our friends and family! The party was on Sunday afternoon and we had a house full. Zac really enjoyed opening all his presents, with the help of his cousins. We gave the birthday boy a BIG piece of cake to dig into, and with a little coaxing, he managed to make a mess and eat most of it. Thank you to everyone who was able to make this an extra special day.

Trip to Vancouver

WOW... I guess I have been missing lately!! Life sure is busy here in MN this summer... Sei has been able to make it home for two trips.. the first time he came home we took a quick trip to Vancouver... flying into Seattle and driving up. It was a great time, and really gave Sei and Zac a chance to hang out and be pals. We saw alot of the city, spending time in a beautiful park, shopping on a little island and exploring downtown. While we were there, Sei took an exam and recieved his Canadian Airman License. It was too bad that he needed to go back to India two days before Zac's first birthday.

Seattle Family Trip

What a great trip!!! We had 5 May birthdays in the family... Grandma Dianne, Cousins.. Jason, Jody and Asher and Aunt Donna. 9 of us from MN traveled to Seattle to meet up with 14 others to have a fantastic family vacation!! We rented a large house on the sound and spent 5 days visiting and having fun. Friday, we took the ferry to downtown and walked around Pikes Place Market.. always a favorite for me. Then Sat, the huge Birthday Grill-out Party with fresh fish and steaks and lots of yummy veges. Sunday, for Mothers Day, we had tacos at Jodys.. Then Monday we toured the Boeing Plant and had another get-together at Bucas. All the kids loved playing with eachother, and the three little ones, Zac, Asher and Ayda shared Cherrios on a daily basis. FUN... FUN... FUN!!!

Zac is 11 Months Old!!

This is our last birthday muffin... next month is the big 1.0! If this month is any indication.. the cake should be quite fun and very messy!! Zac had a huge milestone this last month with taking his first steps... and has he ever been busy trying to master his new skill. There are plenty of spills and falls, but he is getting quicker everyday. He has also learned to wave hello and goodbye and say the word "baby". He loves playing with other kids and with Grandma's little dog, Heidi. We haven't had him weighed/ measured lately, but he is now wearing 18 month clothes and is very tall.. and talkative :o)
